   Airport Shuttle Information(updated 9/6/04)

• Shuttle provided by Royal Carribbean Cruise Line (RCCL):
  You can buy shuttle tickets at the RCCL counter at LAX. RCCL couters are located next to the rental car counters at every terminal. The return shuttle tickets can be bought on board.
• Super Shuttle:
  You don't need to make reservation. Supper shuttle runs between LAX and Long Beach Port continuously. One way ticket is $33 for the first person and $9 for each additional passanger. For more information, visit the super shuttle website . or cal l its reservation number 800-258-3826.

Motion sickness

• Oral pill - over-the-counter, pick the non-drowsy, 24 hour ones
• Behind-the-ear patch - "Transder Scope", you need to ask your doctor for the prescription.  One patch works for three days.  Non-drowsy.  Possible side effect - dryness of the mouth.

Dear ladies,

There are 44 days till reunion!  It is getting close.  Time to start putting things together.  I hope you have all made your travel arrangement.  Don't forget your passport.  People from Taiwan/Japan - you will need multiple entry visa.

• Attached is the latest registration list.  Please make sure your name is spelled correctly.  You can also see the roommate list and the table number - for dinner.  For those who ordered shuttle tickets, it is also marked.  Please email Yin Hung (TAdams1234@aol.com) right away if there are any mistakes. 
• Registration is still open.  Please encourage your friends to join.  We managed to lower the August price from $420 to $350.  Check the web at beinu1972.org.
• In mid-September, you will receive the cruise ticket and the shuttle tickets if you ordered them.  Please bring them with you, especially the shuttle tickets.  For people from Taiwan and Japan, you will not receive the cruise packages.  We will hold the packages here and give them to you right before you board the ship.
• On boarding day, before you check in with the cruise, please look for our registration table.  It will be marked with a green-shirt-and-black-skirt sign.  Please check in with Beinu before you check in with the cruise.
• There will be a formal dinner.  Please bring a dress, long or short.  Pant suits are OK, too.  Evening gown is preferred because you can also show it in our fashion show.
• For the Beinu activities on board, we want your participation. 
• Fashion show/self-introduction - Everyone will go on the stage and introduce herself.  You can wear the dress for formal dinner or you can be in one of these categories:
• Evening gown
• Chinese dress
• Casual
• Sports
• Designed by yourself
• Swim suit - don't be afraid, two people from NC already planned to be in this category.
• Talent show - If you like to show off any talent please contact Shu-Feng Huoh as soon as possible -  huoh9999@yahoo.com
• Slide show - We want your pictures, past (beinu) and now.  Please send them to Peggy Li - peggyli@linkline.com.  If you have pictures from the 30th reunion, they are great, too.
• We need a volunteer on-board photographer.  Husband will be great.  Please contact Shu-Feng if you can.  Digital camera/video camera will be provided.

Please actively participate in the reunion.  More participation = more fun = more memory.  Please get involved.  We want you!  Come prepared.

Hi Ladies,

There are only 82 days left till the reunion.  Hope you have made your travel arrangement by now.  If you need to purchase the cruise shuttle ticket from LAX to the boarding pier you can order it through our travel agent.  The cost is $19 each way.  Boarding is from Noon to 4 PM.  It takes about an hour from LAX.  Please plan to arrive LAX before 1 PM.  Since 10/1 is a Monday traffic may be bad.  If you like to buy the ticket please provide

• $19 per trip
• Before 7/20/04
